| SHAOLIN ADHI SAKTHI TRUST is a secular organization pioneering in spiritual movement, which organized in april 2005, under the Indian Act in Salem city of Tamil Nadu state, India. It aims at mobilizing the people of the world for the promotion of fraternity, unity, harmony, spirituality, moral values, yoga practices that are basic and vital to human life, by creating awareness among them. |

| Kung - Fu |

Kung Fu can be literally translated as meaning ‘hard work’ or ‘skill from effort’. It has become the common generic term for all Chinese Martial Arts or Wushu in the west. |

There are many hundreds of Chinese Martial Arts styles that have been developed over many hundreds of years. Some of these styles are today widely practiced around the world, other family styles are less well known, or have died out as masters have passed away. There are two main divisions in Kung Fu. “Internal” Styles, though most “External” styles have “Internal” elements incorporated in them. |

The External styles also have two major divisions: Northern Kung Fu and Southern Kung Fu. Northern Styles typically use long-range techniques, higher stances and high kicks. Southern styles typically focus on short-range techniques for close combat, low stances and low kicks. However all Chinese Martial Arts have common features and you will see these in northern and southern styles. |
